To learn how to configure the\u00a0SendGrid<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0FluentSMTP<\/strong>, follow the steps with screenshots below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, go to\u00a0FluentSMTP<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0Settings<\/strong>\u00a0of Negosyo Toolkit Dashboard in the left sidebar, and select SendGrid from the given Connection Providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if you are already connected to any email service provider, go to the Settings<\/strong> section from the FluentSMTP<\/strong> Navbar and click the + Add Another Connection<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click the\u00a0SendGrid<\/strong><\/strong>\u00a0tab to connect to this provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After you choose the provider, it will take you to the\u00a0Add Connection<\/strong>\u00a0page where you will get all the options to connect your SendGrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, you need to provide<\/strong>:

From Email<\/strong>: The \u201cFrom Email\u201d should be the email you verified with\u00a0SendGrid<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>\u00a0(e.g., \u201csupport@samplesite.com\u201d). Use a work email on your private domain<\/strong> (e.g., support@samplesite.com<\/a><\/em>). If you don\u2019t have one yet, contact our support team and we\u2019ll help you set up a work email under your private domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reply To<\/strong> \u2013 Set the recipient email address for replies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Name<\/strong>: From name can be anything you want. You can use a combination of your name and company name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Force Sender Name<\/strong>: Check the box to align the return path with the form. This setting indicates where bounce messages are sent. If unchecked, bounce messages will be lost. When enabled, you will receive an email at the \u201cFrom Email\u201d address for any bounced messages due to recipient email issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get SendGrid API Key<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learn how to get the API Key from SendGrid <\/strong>by following the steps with the screenshots below \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, log into your SendGrid Account<\/a>, click the Settings <\/strong>section from the left sidebar, open the API Keys <\/strong>page, and click the Create API Key <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Give your API Key <\/strong>a Name<\/strong> as per your requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, give the necessary Permissions <\/strong>according to your needs, click the Create & View <\/strong>button, and your API key will be created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, you will get your created API key, simply\u00a0Copy<\/strong>\u00a0it.

Then, go back to the desired Add Connection<\/strong> page under Settings<\/strong> from the Fluent SMTP Navbar<\/strong> and paste<\/strong> the API Key you copied from SendGrid<\/strong> inside the API Key<\/strong> box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you input all the necessary information, finally, click the Save Connection Settings <\/strong>button.
And, your SendGrid<\/strong> server will be connected to your FluentSMTP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Send a Test Email<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to the\u00a0Email Test<\/strong>\u00a0tab and enter the \u201cFrom Email\u201d address, ensuring it matches the one configured in\u00a0SendGrid<\/strong><\/strong>.

Important Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You must configure Single Sender Verification<\/strong> in your SendGrid account. (Skip this step if you\u2019ve already completed it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Fill in the required details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. From Name<\/strong> \u2013 The name that will appear as the sender.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. From Email Address<\/strong> \u2013 Use a work email on your private domain<\/strong> (e.g., support@samplesite.com<\/a><\/em>).\n

    • If you don\u2019t have one yet, contact our support team and we\u2019ll help you set up a work email under your private domain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Reply To<\/strong> \u2013 Set the recipient email address for replies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Company Address, Zip Code, Country, and Nickname<\/strong> \u2013 Enter your company details.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Once done, click Create<\/strong>.
